The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan further highlighted that most of the newly registered companies belong to sectors such as trade, services, information technology, construction, and mining.

Additionally, regulatory compliance among companies improved by 61 percent. During these three months, 61,960 companies submitted their annual returns, compared to 38,326 companies last year.

The commission also announced the launch of digital share certificates for unlisted companies, which is expected to reduce shareholder disputes through electronic record-keeping.

To facilitate businesses, new support centers will be established in major cities including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Faisalabad. The SECP also plans to further automate the company registration system and introduce artificial intelligence for company name reservation.
